more existing grids.
In this example, the units of an elevation grid are converted from meters to feet. This involves multipling every cell in the grid by a conversion factor.

A more complex example is the normalization of grid values to a specific range, such as between one and zero. This is useful when you want to determine the relationship between two datasets that have different units as well as a different range of values, for example, elevated blood lead levels and average family income. |
